Website Redesign Coming Up!

This is my first post for the year and I haven’t blogged in a long time. After being occupied with a lot of work and stuff to do, I have visited my blog and found something that I need to do; to give it a new look and make it somewhat flashy and elegant. So, I will be having a major website redesign this weekend.
Personally, I love the look of my current website. It is so simple, it has easy access to information, and it’s easy to navigate. However, I know that a lot of my readers think that it’s poorly designed. So, I accept the challenge to give my website a new look for this year.
Here are some things that I am considering:
1. Add a thumbnail for posts – This however, would be limited since this domain is hosted only on a 100 mb space. I will try however to add thumbnails for each category to make my posts easily identifiable on first glance.
2. Remove specific sections of the website – I am no longer selling domains, and I no longer need some old parts of this website, so I will be taking them down too.
3. Create a logo – I think I’d be needing one, so I will be working on this the whole weekend. I think I’ll work on this first before the actual website redesign.
4. Change of website colors – I find the current color scheme boring, so I will be changing it as well. I hope my regular readers would like it though.

As I was checking out some Cuban Music on the web, I found this really interesting website, Timba.Com. It has loads of information regarding the latest news in the Cuban Music Industry, and I did find what I was looking for. I heard about a band named “Los Van Van” and got curious, and I got the answer from this website. They seriously are offering tons of information, and I think they have even surpassed that of Wikipedia.
Digging on the SEO Point of view, this website exists for over 10 years on the internet, which definitely makes it one of the authorities in the online Cuban Music world. It is loaded with information, all related to Cuban Music which gives it a plus factor for me, in terms of keyword relationship between the website’s content.
Well, I suggest that if you have a passion for South American Music, visit Timba.Com and check out what this website has to offer. 
Makeityourring Diamond Engagement Rings Update
Ok, makeityourring diamond engagement rings’ SEO Contest sure gave me a good headstart. The competition was undergoing for 3 weeks now, and I am still on page 1 when you search makeityourring diamond engagement rings on Google.
I have seen lots of discussions regarding the contest and I think that it is about time that I join the contest for some healthy competition. Like what I said during my previous post, I joined makeityourring diamond engagement rings not because of the money, but for the experience.
